13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable United States federal law and the laws of the jurisdiction where VetTechPrograms.org is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Informal Resolution. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at legal@vettechprograms.org. We will attempt to respond to your concern in good faith.
Arbitration. If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. Judgment on the arbitrator’s award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
Exceptions. Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court or seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement claims.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Material changes may be announced via a notice on the Site homepage.
Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Editorial Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and VetTechPrograms.org regarding your use of the Site.
No joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and VetTechPrograms.org as a result of these Terms or your use of the Site.
